Explore Kentucky’s Only Museum Devoted Entirely to Caves

The American Cave Museum is the only museum in the United States devoted entirely to caves. Located in Horse Cave, Kentucky, the museum features FREE admission and exhibits on karst geology, groundwater, cave wildlife, archaeology, cave conservation, and the history of America’s natural caves. Visitors can also ride the elevator to an observation deck overlooking Hidden River Cave, one of Kentucky’s largest cave entrances. The museum is one of the top educational attractions in Kentucky Cave Country, just minutes from Mammoth Cave National Park.
